Export Layouts to EPS Files
Question

Answer
Both the file formats you suggest are "raster" based, i.e. when you zoom in, you will see jagged lines or blocks. It would be better to export the layout as a "vector" based format, e.g. Encapsulated PostScript (EPS).
Version 1.3 can export flat pattern projections to EPS file. In version 2.0 and later the line width can be adjusted.
